tips for a successful Microsoft Teams meeting
- If connecting from a tablet or
mobile device, you will be directed to the Appstore to install Teams. (if
not already installed).
- If connecting from your
personal computer, you will be prompted to install the Teams app for the
best experience (if not already installed). If you
click where it prompts for the download, you will be taken directly to the
Microsoft Teams download page.

and screen sharing may not work correctly.
- Chrome and the newer
Edge browsers are the only fully compatible web browsers that allow all
the features in Teams.
- Either way, in app or in
browser, you will be prompted to enter your name to let others know who
has joined the meeting. Once
the host has opened the meeting, you will be joined. You will have a menu bar with controls for your
Camera, Mic, and access to the participants list and chat. You do not need a username and password to attend a
Teams meeting invite may have also included a phone number for the Audio
